AAE 8060: Efficiency and Productivity Analysis

The focus of this course is on the use of quantitative methods for modeling the production process and evaluating the performance of Decision-Making Units (DMUs). More specifically, quantitative tools such as mathematical programming, and econometric and statistical analysis are used to a) represent the production possibilities of DMUs, and b) measure DMU's technical, environmental, and social performance. Lab work (using R and STATA) is integrated into the class to give students hands-on experience on modeling DMUs' performance.
